【摘要】:Thistestmethodisparticularlysuitableforqualitycontrolintheapplicationofinsulatingcoatings.Thistestmethodmeasurestheinterlaminarresistanceofinsulatingcoatings,asdefinedin3.1.4.Interlaminarresistanceisthemeasureoftheinsulatingqualityofthecoating.Interlaminarresistanceisreportedinunitsofkx03A9;.TheinterlaminarresistancedeterminedinaccordancewiththistestmethodisnotthesamequantitydeterminedbyTestMethodA717/A717MorTestMethodA718.Thistestmethodisparticularlyusefulforelectricalsteelscoatedwithinorganicinsulatingcoatingshavingsurfaceinsulationresistivitiesinexcessof0.3kx03A9;x00B7;cm2[30kx03A9;x00B7;mm2]whentestedusingTestMethodA717/A717M(aFranklincurrentlessthan0.02A).Thistestmethodcanreadilybeextendedtoanyrangeofinsulationresistivitythattheequipmentcomprisingthetwo-surfacetesterallows.Fortheequipmentspecifiedherein,themaximummeasurableresistanceis1200kx03A9;forthe10-x03BC;Acurrentsettingand12000kx03A9;forthe1-x03BC;Acurrentsetting;themaximumvoltageforthetestsystemis12V.Repeatreadingsonthesamesetoftwoelectricalsteellaminationsusingdifferentcontactpositions,aswellasthetestingofmultiplelaminationsfromthesamelotofelectricalsteel,arerecommended.Severalreadingsaresuggestedbecausethecoatingthicknessmayvaryacrossthesurfaceofagivenelectricalsteellamination.Additionally,thecoatingthicknessmayvaryacrossseverallaminationstakenfromthesamelotofelectricalsteel.Suchvariationsincoatingthicknessarelikelytoyieldvariationsinthemeasuredinterlaminarresistance.Therequirednumberofreadingsdependsonthenatureofthecoatingandtheaccuracyrequired.1.1Thistestmethodcoversameansoftestingtheinterlaminarresistanceofelectricallyinsulatingcoatingsasappliedtoadjacentlaminationsofflat-rolledelectricalsteel,underpredeterminedconditionsofvoltage,pressureandtemperature.Itindicatestheeffectivenessofsurfacecoatingsonelectricalsheetsteelsforlimitinginterlaminarlossesinelectricalmachinery.Theinterlaminarresistanceismeasureddirectlyinunitsofresistance(k).1.2Thistestmethodisparticularlyusefulfor,butnotlimitedto,electricalsteelscoatedwithinorganicinsulatingcoatings.1.3Thevaluesandequationsstatedincustomary(cgs-emuandinch-pound)orSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthisstandard,SIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
