【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesrequirementsforthefollowingaspectsofinformationtechnologycabling:a)planning;b)installationpractice.ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicabletoalltypesofinformationtechnologycablinginsidebuildings(andmaybeappliedtocablingthatisdefinedaspartofthebuilding)includinggenericcablingsystemsdesignedinaccordancewiththeEN50173series.TherequirementsofClauses4,5and6ofthisstandardarepremises-independentunlessamendedbytherequirementsofpremises-specificclauses.ThisEuropeanStandard:1)detailstheconsiderationsforsatisfactoryinstallationandoperationofinformationtechnologycabling;2)excludesspecificrequirementsapplicabletoothercablingsystems(e.g.powersupplycabling);however,ittakesaccountoftheeffectsothercablingsystemsmayhaveontheinstallationofinformationtechnologycabling(andviceversa)andgivesgeneraladvice;3)excludesthoseaspectsofinstallationassociatedwiththetransmissionofsignalsinfreespacebetweentransmitters,receiversortheirassociatedantennasystems(e.g.wireless,radio,microwaveorsatellite).ThisEuropeanStandardisintendedforapplicationwithincommercialandresidentialpremises.Thisstandardisapplicabletocertainhazardousenvironments.Itdoesnotexcludeadditionalrequirementswhichareapplicableinparticularcircumstances,definedbye.g.electricitysupplyandelectrifiedrailways.
